Spark-Y is a youth empowerment nonprofit that provides access and opportunity to youth through hands-on education, projects, and employment rooted in sustainability and entrepreneurship. Since 2013, over 13,000 youth have participated in our award-winning programs, sparking personal and professional development and collective care for the Earth we all share.
Spark-Y is entering a new phase of organizational maturity where strong financial systems are essential to sustaining and growing our programs.
Over the past year we redesigned our financial architecture to support multiple funding streams and complex program operations. Our organization now operates a True-Cost Accounting framework and class-based reporting system that allows leadership to understand the real economics of each program, project, and service line.
The Accounting Manager handles the day-to-day accounting that keeps Spark-Y's books accurate, timely, and audit-ready. You will manage Spark-Y's daily accounting operations and ensure financial data is accurate and reliable.
By maintaining this financial foundation, you help ensure that Spark-Y’s programs can operate sustainably while leadership has the information needed to steward resources responsibly and plan for long-term growth.
Are you someone who enjoys bringing clarity and structure to complex financial systems? Do you take pride in accurate reporting and well-organized processes that help organizations operate effectively?
As Accounting Manager, you will handle Spark-Y's day-to-day accounting operations and maintain the financial systems that support organizational reporting and decision-making.
