Accounting Manager

Overview
We are seeking a highly reliable, detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our rapidly growing teleradiology practice. While headquartered in Puerto Rico, our current business and future growth are predominantly U.S.-based. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes ownership of day-to-day accounting operations and can independently manage the full monthly close. The ideal candidate is execution-focused, organized, and experienced in running core accounting processes in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and execute the monthly close process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
• Perform account reconciliations and maintain supporting schedules
• Manage electronic billing and ensure accurate, timely invoicing
• Oversee accounts receivable, including collections and aging follow-up
• Manage accounts payable, including approvals and payment processing
• Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks and ensure data integrity
• Prepare year-end schedules and documentation for external CPA firm
• Support the onboarding of newly acquired entities, including chart of accounts mapping and historical data reconciliation
• Support tax compliance processes, including sales tax and required filings
• Review contracts for key financial terms and administrative compliance

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping or accounting experience in a similar role
• Proven ability to independently manage a full set of books and monthly close
• Strong working knowledge of accounting fundamentals and reconciliations
• Experience with accounts receivable, accounts payable, and billing processes
• Familiarity with corporate tax and sales tax requirements
• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize and execute in a fast-paced, growing environment
• Clear communicator and dependable team player
• High level of discretion with sensitive financial information

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
