Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Manager to lead and manage Canadian accounting and taxation operations. This role involves overseeing remote teams, ensuring compliance, maintaining quality standards, and supporting Canadian CPA practices across accounting and tax engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise accounting and taxation services for Canadian clients
• Review T1, T2, GST/HST filings and financial statements
• Manage bookkeeping, compilations, review, and audit engagements
• Implement SOPs, workflows, and quality controls
• Mentor and train accounting staff
• Act as escalation point for operational and client issues

Requirements:

• CPA/CA (Canada or India) or equivalent
• 5–8 years of experience in Canadian accounting & taxation
• Strong expertise in T1, T2, year-end bookkeeping, and compliance
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, Caseware, TaxPrep/TaxCycle
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience managing remote teams preferred
