As we continue to expand, we are looking for a Financial Operations Specialist to join Salla's Controllership Department, reporting directly to the VP of Finance.
Responsibilities
This role focuses on handling cross department financial operations, ensuring smooth coordination between finance and other teams, and resolving manual or exceptional financial processes efficiently and accurately.
Qualifications
- Strong accounting background and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams to ensure operational efficiency and financial accuracy.
- Strong problem solving and organizational skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Professional working proficiency in English (written and verbal).
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial operations.
- Hands on experience managing payment operations, including payment reconciliations and settlement processes.
- Proven experience in financial operations within marketplace, e commerce, fintech, or logistics environments.
- Demonstrated understanding of accounting principles and financial workflows.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data validation.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Jira or other ticketing/issue tracking systems.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle NetSuite or similar).
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Strong problem solving skills.
