As an Accounting Professional, you will be the key owner of the financial processes for our marketplace operations in KSA and UAE. This is a central role where you will manage the end-to-end financial cycle, from ensuring timely and accurate financial statements to leading strategic improvement projects with cross-functional teams. You will act as a crucial business partner, providing data-driven financial insights to support the Gulf Business Unit and ensure the integrity of our financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Inventory of warehouse operations accounting.
• Knowledge sharing in Gulf accounting legislation, relevant tax and commercial laws.
• Processing the inventory procurement accounting and taking actions for the relevant controls.
• Managing accounting of import processes and export processes.
• Managing the missing/excessive/return goods processes' accounting.
• Having balance/account reconciliation processes with the suppliers.
• Checking the trial balance of the relevant accounts and proactively observe possible errors and take action.

Expected Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree from university preferably in Management, Business, Economics and other quantitative studies.
• Proficient in MS Office programs, with a good level of Excel knowledge.
• Warehouse accounting experience.
• Having analytical perspective and problem solving skills.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Preferably worked in the e-commerce & retail industry, minimum 4 years of experience in accounting.
• Preferably having experience in inventory accounting.
• Preferably experienced in SAP-FI and MM modules, with basic level knowledge in CO and SD modules.
• Experience in VAT submission processes for GCC countries
