Accounting & Reporting Associate

Shift: 9:00 AM EST – 6:00 PM EST (7:00 PM PKT – 4:00 AM PKT)

Location: On-site, Gulistan-e-Johar, Karachi (Mon–Fri)

We are hiring an Accounting & Reporting Associate to support recurring accounting operations and financial reporting work. The right person will be highly detail-oriented, strong in accounting fundamentals, excellent with spreadsheets, and able to learn structured workflows quickly.

This position is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in public accounting, who enjoys working in a disciplined environment with clear reporting cycles and deadlines.

Key Responsiblities

• Maintain accuracy in accounting records through daily/weekly reviews
• Perform reconciliations and verify financial data consistency
• Prepare and update recurring reporting workbooks/templates
• Support month-end closing activities and routine journal entry work
• Track open items and ensure clean documentation for reporting deliverables
• Communicate clear updates and flag issues early to ensure timely completion
• Coordinate with internal team members to ensure reports are completed accurately and on time

Requirements

Only apply if you have Public Accounting experience

Must have Completed ACCA, CMA, CA or be a Finalist

Must be proficient in English (writing + speaking)

Must be able to work 9 AM EST to 6 PM EST / 7 PM PKT to 4 AM PKT | Monday–Friday

Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and financial reporting

Excellent Excel / Google Sheets skills (formulas, structured workbooks, data checks)

Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar systems)

High attention to detail and strong self-review habits

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently

Strong communication and problem-solving mindset
