Accounting Specialist

Accounting Specialist full-time employee opportunity with autonomy, hybrid office schedule and a great group of people in a non-profit organization. Much of the team is tenured and professional. The Accounting Specialist for Community Outreach Medical Center will be over accounting and grant finance including but not limited to:

· Reconcile multiple county and state grant budgets using QuickBooks Online.

· Conduct account payables and account receivables for the grant and center budgets. Provide invoices to grantors with required details for payment via online portal or email.

· Prepare new grant budgets as they come in.

· Review, modify, and report (planned and ad-hoc) on grant and center budgets and monthly and quarterly.

· Provide information to auditor, CFO, Controller, President, Director of Operations, and grantors when asked via phone or email. Attend routine meetings with grantors and others.

· Review payroll and staff allocation as it pertains to grants.

· Help with Folx Foundation accounting and budget.

· Other duties and responsibilities as assigned to meet optimal business objectives.

Requirements:

· Grant budgeting for multiple grants up to or over $1MM. Please make sure your resume clearly shows this experience.

· QuickBooks Online with MSOffice skills: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

· Exceptional bookkeeping skills for a company or non-profit agency.

· Good communication skills to represent center at budget meetings, explain accounting procedures, and write emails and processes.

· Able to work for any employer for any period of time without sponsorship.

· Pass background check.

· Willing and able to come into the office two to three days per week.

· Valid CPR/AED/BLS certification or the ability to obtain within 30 days of hire (preferred)

· COMC is a CMS provider and is obligated to follow CMS guidelines, as of 3.31.2022 in compliance with CMS Omnibus COVID-19 Health Care Staff Vaccination Interim Final Rule, all COMC employees, contractual providers, volunteers and students/interns are required to obtain vaccination against COVID-19 unless a medical or religious exemption request is approved.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
