Accounting Specialist

Description: The Accounting Specialist is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounts receivable functions, assisting with customer billing and pricing in addition to working closely with our existing Touring Accountant and Accounts Payable specialist in supporting our overall accounting operations.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead daily/weekly bank reconciliations from online platforms such as Shopify.
• Monitor AR aging and lead collection efforts.
• Assist customer billing.
• Proactively communicate with clients/vendors on outstanding balances.
• Reconcile AR subledgers to the general ledger monthly.
• Maintain accurate customer records, billing terms, and documentation.
• Support our Quarterly Artist Settlement process.
• Maintain organized documentation for audit readiness.
• Identify and implement process improvements in AR workflows.
• Support Accounts Payable functions daily/weekly/monthly as needed.

Qualifications

• 1 – 3 years of experience in AR, AP, or general accounting.
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, index match, array formulas, etc…).
• Experience with accounting systems (NetSuite experience preferred).
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workflows simultaneously.
• Experience with Merchandising preferred but not required.
• Degree in accounting/finance or similar discipline preferred.
