We’re not your typical accounting environment. We’re a growing company in a unique niche industry, working with builders, homeowners, and contractors on custom fire solutions - where no two jobs look exactly the same.
We’ve recently implemented a new ERP system and are actively building and refining how we operate. If you enjoy bringing structure to moving parts and making systems better, you’ll fit right in.
Position Overview:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist who takes ownership, enjoys problem-solving, and thrives in a dynamic environment.
This isn’t a plug-and-play bookkeeping role; our invoicing and workflows require attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to connect the dots across jobs, materials, and timelines. If you like work that keeps you engaged and thinking, this role delivers.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Managing Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, payment tracking, and collections
- Handling Accounts Payable, including vendor bills, approvals, and timely payments
- Preparing and filing sales tax reports
- Supporting insurance management (certificates, renewals, audits, etc.)
- Maintaining and updating product cost data in our ERP, coordinating with operations and logistics based on manufacturer and supplier price increases.
- Assisting with reconciliations and general accounting tasks and duties as assigned
- Maintaining clean, accurate financial records
- Helping refine and improve accounting processes within our ERP system
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong attention to detail; this role requires accuracy and follow-through
- Organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple moving pieces
- Comfortable thinking through situations, not just checking boxes
- Takes ownership and doesn’t wait to be told what to do next
- Works well independently while staying connected to a team
- Experience with accounting or ERP systems
- Experience working through system transitions or improving processes is a plus
Why This Role Stands Out:
- Your work directly impacts job profitability and operations; not just data entry
- Opportunity to help shape and improve systems as we grow
- A role that stays engaging; no two days are exactly the same
- Supportive, team-focused environment

Pay: $50,000.00 - $62,500.00 per year
Benefits:
- 401(k) matching
- Employee discount
