Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor in our Missouri City Office Location. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee financial operations, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and drive accurate financial reporting within a fast-paced environment. Duties

• Supervise daily accounting activities, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), and other regulatory requirements.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, preparing accurate financial statements and reports.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis to maintain data integrity.
• Manage cash flow forecasting, cash management activities, and banking relationships to optimize liquidity.
• Lead internal audits and coordinate external audits to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
• Support budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting efforts aligned with organizational goals.
• Implement and maintain accounting software such as Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar platforms to streamline operations.
• Provide guidance on technical accounting issues including revenue recognition, payroll processing, and complex transactions.
• Develop and enforce internal controls to mitigate risks related to financial reporting and compliance.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, SOX compliance, governmental accounting, and non-profit accounting standards.
• Strong expertise in financial report writing, account reconciliation, balance sheet management, and account analysis.
• Proficiency with accounting software including Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, and other financial management tools.
• Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping principles, debits & credits, and general ledger reconciliation processes.
• Experience with accounts payable/receivable management and payroll processing.
• Ability to analyze financial data critically for forecasting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making.
• Excellent communication skills for preparing detailed financial reports and collaborating across teams.
