THE ROLE
As an Accounting Technician at THRHA, you’ll support day‑to‑day financial operations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and smooth workflow across the Finance Department. In this role, you will:

Process vendor invoices, issue payments, and maintain accurate accounts payable records while ensuring proper coding and documentation.

Manage daily deposits by collecting payments, preparing deposit reports, and ensuring timely and accurate posting to the correct bank accounts.

Maintain vendor files and financial records, responding to inquiries and resolving discrepancies to keep information organized and compliant.

Support monthly closing activities, audit preparation, and general accounting tasks that help the department operate efficiently.

WHAT YOU BRING

A solid understanding of basic accounting principles, especially in accounts payable and financial recordkeeping.

Minimum requirements:

High school diploma or GED.

Two years of accounting, bookkeeping, or accounts payable experience preferred (additional education in accounting or business may substitute for some experience).

Valid driver’s license.

Starting Pay (Grade 9): $23.30 per hour/$45,434 annually
