Accounting & VAT Specialist (UAE)

Connect Solutions Lahore office is seeking UAE- Accounting and VAT Specialist with strong bookkeeping experience to manage day-to-day accounting operations, VAT compliance, and financial records in accordance with UAE laws and FTA regulations for UAE clients.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with VAT filings, bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting, and be comfortable working independently with accuracy and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts (GL, AP, AR)
• Handle UAE VAT registrations, deregistration’s, and amendments
• Prepare and file VAT returns with the Federal Tax Authority (FTA)
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws and audit requirements
• Maintain VAT records and supporting documents
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing

Required Qualifications

✅ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
✅ 2–5+ years of UAE accounting & VAT experience
✅ Strong knowledge of UAE VAT Law and FTA procedures
✅ Proven bookkeeping experience
✅ Experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Xero, SAP)
