Accounts Assistant

Job Purpose:

To assist the Accounts Department in daily financial transactions, documentation, and reporting to ensure smooth and accurate processing of company accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record and encode daily invoices, receipts, and payments into the accounting system.
  • Assist in preparing vouchers, cheques, and payment requests.
  • Support monthly closing activities and preparation of basic reports.
  • Maintain proper filing of accounting documents and records.
  • Assist with reconciliation of supplier statements and petty cash.
  • Coordinate with other departments for required financial documents.
  • Perform other accounting-related tasks as assigned by the Accounts Supervisor or Finance Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or any related field.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles is an advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and Word.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Honest, reliable, and willing to learn.
