ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT FOR LUXURY GROOUP - BASED IN DUBAI
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Bookkeeping & Data Entry
- Record daily financial transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, payments).
- Maintain ledgers and journals accurately.
- Filing all the revenue & expense invoices in the relevant folders.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Process supplier invoices and verify pricing, duplicates, terms of payment & match the PO.
- Follow up on customer payments and issue quotes & invoices as per commercial request.
- Reconcile vendor and customer statement of accounts and keep a track of payments.
- Bank & Cash Management
- Prepare bank reconciliations to match the books vs bank accounts.
- Track petty cash and daily cash flow.
- Compliance & Documentation
- Assist in VAT filings and returns to Finance Manager.
- Ensure invoices, vouchers, and receipts are properly documented.
- Support in audit preparation.
- Financial Reporting Support
- Help prepare monthly/quarterly management reports.
- Prepare monthly stock re-order report as per the agreed finance budget.
- Help finance manager in preparing quarterly and yearly budgets.
- Assist the Finance Manager with analysis.
Skills Needed
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in software like QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or ERP systems.
- Good MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, reports).
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
Experience:
- Accounting: 3 years (Required)
- Quickbooks or Zoho software: 1 year (Required)
