Core responsibilities

  • Data entry and maintenance: Record and maintain daily financial transactions in Tally software.
  • Account reconciliation: Reconcile accounts, bank statements, and financial discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
  • Report generation: Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports.
  • Payments and invoicing: Process invoices, payments, and receipts, and manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Tax and compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations (like GST) and company policies, and assist with filing tax returns.

Additional duties

  • Payroll management: Handle payroll calculations, including EPF and ESI, and manage related payments.
  • Inventory management: Maintain records of inventory items.
  • Auditing: Assist with internal and external audits by preparing documentation and conducting periodic checks.
  • Financial analysis: Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and general financial analysis.
  • Administrative tasks: Communicate with employees and handle other administrative tasks related to finance.

Key skills and qualifications

  • Proficiency in Tally ERP.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Skills in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Relevant degree (e.g., Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance) and/or certification in Tally is often required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,126.96 - ₹29,263.90 per month
