The Accounts Assistant supports the finance team with daily accounting tasks, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial records, invoices, payments, and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update accounting records, ledgers, and financial statements.
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Process invoices, bills, expense claims, and payment vouchers.
  • Reconcile bank statements, supplier statements, and company accounts.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Prepare and maintain spreadsheets, reports, and financial summaries.
  • Assist with audit requirements by providing necessary documentation.
  • Manage petty cash and ensure proper documentation.
  • Respond to internal and external financial inquiries professionally.
  • Perform general administrative support for the finance department.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and numerical skills.

Experience:

  • 1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance (fresh graduates may apply).

Work Environment:

  • Office-based role with regular interaction with finance and administrative teams.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From QAR2,500.00 per month
