Accounts Assistant

Job Summary

Aguaclan Water Purifiers Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Assistant to support daily accounting operations. The role involves maintaining financial records, assisting with billing, payments, reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. The ideal candidate should have basic accounting knowledge, good organizational skills, and the ability to work accurately with numbers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain books of accounts, vouchers, invoices, and bills
  • Assist in preparation of sales and purchase entries
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable
  • Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payment follow-ups
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny
  • Support GST-related work including data preparation and filing assistance
  • Assist in monthly and annual closing activities
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records
  • Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and auditors as required
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent
  • 1–2 years of experience in accounting or a similar role
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and GST
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
