Accounts Assistant (FEMALE)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support our Accountants Manager at our Dubai office. The ideal candidate will have strong data-entry and bookkeeping skills, with basic accounting knowledge and familiarity with QuickBooks. Experience in manufacturing or construction-related industries—especially aluminium or metal works—is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily data entry tasks in QuickBooks, including posting invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate and organized financial records.
  • Support routine bookkeeping activities such as filing, document control, and updating ledgers.
  • Help with accounts payable and receivable tracking.
  • Assist in preparing basic financial reports as directed by the Senior Accountant.
  • Organize and maintain accounting documents for audits and internal reviews.
  • Provide administrative support, including preparing spreadsheets, following up with suppliers/customers, and coordinating with other departments.
  • Ensure documents are compliant with UAE VAT requirements.
  • Carry out any other tasks assigned by the Senior Accountant.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
  • 1–3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting support roles.
  • Basic proficiency in QuickBooks (mandatory).
  • Good understanding of UAE VAT processes (training can be provided).
  • Strong organizational, filing, and time-management skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to work onsite at our Dubai office.
