Job Description:

The Accounts Assistant Manager supports the Accounts Manager in managing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with statutory requirements, and smooth financial processes within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing day-to-day accounting activities including bookkeeping, journal entries, and ledger maintenance
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as GST, TDS, income tax, and other local regulations
  • Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits
  • Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer accounts
  • Supervise and guide junior accounting staff
  • Maintain proper documentation and records for all financial transactions
  • Support management with financial reports and analysis for decision-making

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (M.Com / MBA Finance preferred)
  • 4–5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliance
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, SAP, or equivalent) and MS Excel
  • Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work independently
  • Strong communication and coordination skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
