Accounts Associate

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Associate to support our finance and accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, processing transactions, assisting with reconciliations, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Prepare and process invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Perform bank, vendor, and customer account reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders regarding financial matters.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience (fresh graduates may also apply, depending on requirements).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Progress toward a professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, or CMA is an advantage.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software.
