Position Overview - The Accounts Executive is responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the financial operations within the college. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to handle various accounting tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Transactions Management:
- Process and record financial transactions, including tuition fees, grants, donations, and other revenue.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, purchase orders, and expense reimbursements.
- Account Reconciliation:
- Perform regular reconciliations of accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and account balances.
- Budget Monitoring:
- Assist in the preparation and monitoring of departmental budgets.
- Track expenditures and provide reports on budget status.
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare financial reports for internal use and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for audits.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with college financial policies and procedures.
- Maintain organized and accurate documentation of all financial transactions and records.
- Customer Service:
- Provide support to students, faculty, and staff regarding financial inquiries and issues.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience:
- Previous experience in accounting or financial management is a plus.
- Experience working in an educational or non-profit environment is advantageous.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, Tally).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions:
- This role may require occasional evening or weekend hours.
