Location: Pune Job Type: Full-time Shift Timing: 10am – 07pm & 01pm -10pm

Job Summary: As an Accountant at Provilac, you will manage daily financial operations, including bookkeeping, invoicing, expense tracking, and reconciliation to ensure accurate and timely financial records. You will support cost accounting for dairy production, monitor inventory-related transactions, and assist in preparing financial statements and reports. The role involves coordinating with procurement, operations, and management teams to maintain financial compliance, optimize costs, and support smooth business operations within a fast-paced dairy production environment.

Responsibilities:

Handle day-to-day accounting operations and bookkeeping. Maintain accounts in Tally / ERP system and ensure accuracy of records. Prepare and manage invoices, purchase orders, and sales entries. Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer accounts. Manage GST, TDS calculations, filings, and returns. Assist in payroll processing, expense management, and monthly closing. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. Support internal and external audits. Prepare financial reports, MIS, and statements for management review.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance / Commerce (B.Com / M.Com preferred). 1–3 years of accounting experience. Strong knowledge of Tally ERP, Excel, MS Office & basic accounting principles. Knowledge of GST, TDS & tax compliance is mandatory. Excellent numerical, analytical & communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with accuracy.
