The Accounts Executive will handle day-to-day accounting activities of the restaurant, ensure accurate financial records, manage billing, vendor payments, and support compliance with statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain daily sales entries from POS system
- Verify and reconcile cash, card, UPI & online payments
- Handle purchase bills, expense entries & vendor ledger management
- Prepare and track vendor payments and outstanding balances
- Manage bank entries, reconciliation & petty cash
- Assist in GST compliance (sales, purchase, returns, reconciliation)
- Prepare monthly MIS reports (sales, expenses, profit & loss)
- Monitor inventory valuation and coordinate with store/purchase team
- Support payroll entries, attendance-based salary calculations
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of invoices & vouchers
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and internal teams
- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory norms
Skills & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting
- 1–3 years experience in restaurant / hospitality accounting preferred
- Knowledge of Tally / ERP / POS systems
- Basic understanding of GST, TDS & statutory compliance
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Preferred Qualities
- Experience in F&B or multi-outlet restaurants
- Ability to work under deadlines
- Good coordination and communication skills
