Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Accounts Executive who is responsible for handling day-to-day accounting operations and accounting service engagements of our client office - GON, located in Chaliyam, Calicut. This role supports senior accountants, finance managers, and CFOs by ensuring accurate bookkeeping, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and timely closure of accounts in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records for client companies, including entries, vouchers, and ledgers
- Handle bookkeeping activities using accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar systems
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under the guidance of senior team members
- Assist in GST compliance, including return preparation, reconciliation, and filing
- Support statutory compliance activities such as TDS, PF, ESI, and professional tax
- Perform bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations on a regular basis
- Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable management
- Coordinate with clients to collect accounting data, documents, and clarifications
- Support audit processes by preparing schedules, working papers, and documentation
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and CFO service processes

Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) /M.COM/Other Related Field in Finance
- CA Inter / CA Final students or candidates pursuing professional accounting courses will be preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, journal entries, and financial statements
- Basic understanding of Indian taxation, GST, and statutory compliances
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
- Good communication skills and attention to detail

Recruitment and Experience Requirements
- 0.6 – 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a CA firm or CFO service environment
- Freshers with strong accounting knowledge and internship experience may also be considered
- Experience handling multiple clients or industries will be an added advantage
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple assignments simultaneously
