Job Description

Location: Multiple Cities, Pakistan.

Accounts Executive

1. Accounts Payable (Procurement)

  • Vendor Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor ledgers with key chemical suppliers and local packaging vendors (e.g., plastic covers, tapes) to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies on a timely basis.
  • Payment Scheduling: Plan and execute payments in line with agreed credit terms (e.g., Net 30/60) to maintain smooth procurement operations and avoid supply disruptions.
  • Import Documentation: Manage accounting for imported chemicals and materials, including Letters of Credit (LCs) and commercial invoices, with proper segregation and recording of Customs Duty, Regulatory Duty, and Import Sales Tax.

2. Accounts Receivable (Sales & Recovery)

  • Dealer Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date ledgers for furniture dealers, showrooms, and distributors across KP and Punjab.
  • Credit Control: Review aging reports regularly to track overdue balances, enforce credit limits, and implement credit holds where required.
  • Invoicing: Issue timely and tax-compliant sales invoices, ensuring correct NTN/STRN details to support Annexure-C reporting requirements.

3. General Accounting & Compliance (Will Be a Plus)

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly Profit & Loss statements with a focus on analyzing gross margins by mattress category.
  • Payroll Management: Process monthly payroll for factory workers and staff, ensuring accurate tax calculations and compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Industrial Estate Compliance: Ensure adherence to applicable industrial estate rules, including payment of relevant levies and fees (e.g., Gadoon Amazai, Swabi, if applicable).

4. Inventory & Cost Accounting (Foam Specific)

  • Raw Material Tracking: Maintain accurate inventory records for key raw materials and additives, ensuring correct unit conversions (e.g., KGs to Liters) and monitoring shelf-life of sensitive chemicals.
  • WIP & Process Costing: Monitor Work-in-Progress (WIP) and oversee costing of the foaming and block-making processes, including tracking material consumption, production yield, and wastage (e.g., side skins, scrap foam) to ensure accurate Cost of Goods Manufactured (COGM).
  • Finished Goods Valuation: Manage inventory records for finished mattresses (by size and grade such as King, Queen, Single) as well as semi-finished foam blocks.
  • Stock Taking: Conduct monthly physical stock counts and reconcile with system records, adjusting for variances such as evaporation losses and cutting wastage.

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
