Accounts Executive – Karachi (IT Industry Experience Preferred)

Experience: 2–5 Years
Industry Preference: IT / Technology Sector
Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting the finance function with reporting and analysis. Candidates with experience in the IT industry will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare and update financial reports and reconciliations.
• Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate with auditors and provide required documentation.
• Assist in payroll processing and related accounting entries.
• Prepare MIS reports and support management with financial insights.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, B.Com, or a related field.
2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
IT industry experience will be preferred.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, Xero, or ERP systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, and reporting).
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
