Overview of the Role

The Accounts Executive ensures accurate and timely financial operations by coordinating interdepartmental documentation, managing month end closing activities, and preparing key financial reports to support business decision making.

Key Responsibilities

• Follows up with various teams to obtain intercompany supporting documents and review and accept these documents in the relevant financial module.
• Prepares accrual, adjustment, and other closing entries; reconciles sales data with BI reports and SAP systems.
• Compiles Claims Receivable Aging Reports and coordinates settlements with brand teams to resolve outstanding claims.
• Prepares and circulates weekly and month end stock provision reports; ensures accuracy and timeliness in inventory reporting.
• Generates sales and gross margin reports; prepares customer and brand wise sales summaries for management review.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; prior experience using SAP systems is required.
• Bachelor's degree in commerce or accounting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to handle complexity; excellent planning and organizing skills; attention to detail; highly numerate; good communicator; collaborative style; optimistic attitude.
