Accounts Executive (Freight forwarding)

Job Responsibilities

1. Day-to-Day Accounting Operations:

a) Handle daily accounting entries including vouchers, receipts, payments, and journal entries.

b) Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure timely posting of transactions.

c) Perform bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations on a regular basis.

2. Accounting Finalisation Support:

a) Assist in monthly and year-end account finalisation.

b) Support preparation of financial statements and schedules.

c) Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records.

3. Reporting & Excel-Based Analysis:

a) Prepare MIS reports, reconciliations, and summaries using advanced Excel functions.

b) Support management with financial data and analysis as required.

c) Maintain proper documentation for audits and internal reviews.

4. Systems & Process Compliance:

a) Ensure adherence to company accounting policies and procedures.

b) Work on ERP/accounting systems for accurate data entry and reporting.

c) Support audits by providing required accounting records and explanations.

Preferred Candidate Profile

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.

2. Experience: 3-4 years of hands-on experience in day-to-day accounting operations.

3. Technical Skills:

a) Strong conceptual knowledge of accounting up to finalisation.

b) Hands-on experience with Advanced MS Excel.

c) Good typing speed with accuracy.

d) Experience working on accounting/ERP systems.

e) Knowledge of EXIM / logistics-related software will be an added advantage.

4. Soft Skills:

f) Good English communication skills (written and verbal).

g) Ability to communicate effectively with international customers and vendors.

h) High attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

i) Prompt, responsive, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

• Andheri East, Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
