Job Summary

The Accounts Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations of the hotel and restaurant, ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with statutory requirements, and timely reporting to management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain daily accounting entries for hotel and restaurant operations
  • Prepare and verify daily revenue reports (Rooms, F&B, Banquets, POS)
  • Handle cash, bank, and petty cash management
  • Reconcile POS systems, guest bills, and folios
  • Manage Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
  • Process vendor invoices, payments, and follow-ups
  • Maintain inventory and stock records in coordination with stores
  • Prepare and file GST/VAT/TDS returns as applicable
  • Assist in monthly closing, P&L statements, and MIS reports
  • Coordinate with Front Office, F&B, Stores, and Management
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of hotel & restaurant accounting procedures
  • Experience with accounting software (Tally, IDS, Opera, or similar)
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and coordination skills

Qualifications

  • B.Com / M.Com / Accounting-related degree or diploma
  • 1–3 years of experience in hotel or restaurant accounts preferred

Preferred Experience

  • Experience handling POS systems and hospitality ERP software
  • Knowledge of taxation and statutory compliance in hospitality sector

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
