We are looking for an Accounts & Finance Manager who is responsible to lead the financial operations of our FMCG business. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end accounting, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, handle financial reporting and support budgeting and forecasting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, general ledger and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Ensure timely closing of books and accurate financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, PRA, TDS, Income Tax, etc.)
- Coordinate with auditors for internal, statutory, and tax audits.
- File monthly/quarterly/annual tax returns and maintain related documentation.
- Monitor inventory accounting and coordinate with warehouse/logistics for stock valuation.
- Analyze cost of goods sold (COGS) and provide cost-saving insights.
- Support pricing, trade discounts and margin analysis.
- Assist in annual budgeting and periodic forecasting.
- Monitor budget adherence and analyze variances.
- Liaise with banks, suppliers, internal departments and external auditors.
- Provide financial insights to sales and marketing teams for campaign ROI analysis.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of FMCG accounting best practices and cost structures.
- Proficiency in ERP/accounting software (e.g., SAP)
- Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Qualifications & Experience:

- CA qualified / FCCA with 4-5 years of post-qualification relevant experience,
- CA-Finalist / ACCA with 8-10 years of relevant industry experience.
- MBA / Masters in relevant field from the top schools of Pakistan, 10+ years of relevant experience, ideally in FMCG or manufacturing.
- Hands on experience in establishing internal control structure and identifying minimizing internal control weaknesses.
- Strong understanding of FMCG distribution and channel finance preferred.
