Job Overview:
CrecenTech Systems Private Limited is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Account & Finance Specialist to manage and oversee core financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in accounting, taxation, audits, and financial reporting, with proven expertise in QuickBooks. This role plays a critical part in ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and process efficiency while supporting management with reliable financial insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Operations & Transaction Management
- Accurately process and record all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
- Ensure all financial activities comply with internal accounting policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
Reconciliation & Financial Reporting
- Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports in accordance with accounting standards.
- Prepare and submit required tax returns and statutory reports within defined timelines.
Financial Records & Compliance
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and well-documented financial records to support audits and internal reviews.
- Ensure strict compliance with withholding tax, income tax, and sales tax regulations, keeping up to date with changes in tax laws.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to support organizational planning and decision-making.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to provide insights into financial performance and cost optimization.
Audit Coordination
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits, providing required documentation, schedules, and explanations.
- Address audit queries and implement corrective actions where necessary.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to optimize financial processes, enhance accuracy, and improve operational efficiency.
- Implement process improvements to streamline accounting workflows and reporting.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with vendors, clients, banks, auditors, and internal stakeholders to resolve financial queries and ensure smooth financial operations.
Team Support & Development
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and on-the-job training to junior accounting staff, promoting professional growth and knowledge sharing.
Ethical & Professional Standards
- Uphold high standards of financial integrity, confidentiality, and ethical conduct in all financial activities.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting and finance roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks (Xero experience is a plus).
- Proven experience in accounts receivable, taxation, and audit support.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and compliance requirements.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks required).
- Strong knowledge of withholding tax, sales tax, invoice tax, and income tax.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
