About Us

Knowza Learning Solutions is a centralised support office providing operational and strategic services to multiple UK-based organisations, including Britannia Education Group, AIA Properties, and Strivex. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a responsible and organised Accounts Intern / Associate to support daily office operations and contribute to maintaining structured and efficient workplace systems.

Job Summary

We are looking to hire an accountant with an analytical mind and fantastic organisational skills. An ideal candidate would be expected to exhibit strong problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices. Top candidates will have outstanding report writing skills with the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
  • Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
  • Update accounts payable and perform re-conciliations
  • Prepare and submit weekly/monthly financial reports
  • Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to the company's legal, accounting and financial guidelines
  • Assist with the review of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned
  • Update financial data in databases to ensure information is accurate and immediately available when needed.
  • Keeping up-to-date accounting records on Quickbooks Accounting Software.
  • Balancing accounts and bank reconciliations.
  • Maintaining the purchase ledger and sales ledger.
  • Building and maintaining good working relationships with clients.
  • Handling client invoices by recording, approving or denying payments.
  • Ensure all records are passed for year-end accounts once the final bookkeeping has been completed.
  • Intercompany reconciliation between two companies operating with different currencies.
  • Admin assistance and other supporting back-office tasks.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office 365
  • Excellent English Language Proficiency, both verbal and written.
  • Attention to detail and work accuracy.
  • Experience with accounting software such as Xero, Quick Books will be a plus.
  • Able to prepare, review and understand a financial statement.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
  • Proven experience as an accountant
  • Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices

Qualifications

  • BS Accounting / Finance
  • BBA (Accounts or Finance)
  • ACCA (Part-qualified)
  • CA (Inter)
  • CIMA (Part-qualified)

Compensation & Work Schedule:

  • Salary: PKR 60,000 – 80,000 per month
  • Office Timings: 10:00 am – 6:30 pm
  • Working Days: Monday to Friday
  • Job Type: Full-time (On-site)

Hiring & Workplace Policies

Our hiring process includes two stages: an initial interview, followed by a second assessment of cognitive skills.
