Job description
- Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of financial reporting, including preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Oversee the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and applicable accounting regulations.
- Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and other financial reports.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounting entries, including journal entries, adjustments, and reconciliations.
- Manage and supervise the day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Provide financial analysis and reports to management to support decision-making.
- Stay updated on the latest accounting and regulatory trends to ensure the company adheres to all relevant standards.
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a senior accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
- Experience with accounting software in tally
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
