Job Overview:
The Accounts Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire accounts and finance functions , ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. The role involves managing day-to-day financial operations, statutory compliance, cost control, and coordination with auditors, banks, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in accounts and finance, preferably in the steel manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of Tally ERP / SAP and Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with BoE, GST, TDS, LC, and costing procedures in manufacturing setups.

- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Sound knowledge of accounting standards and statutory compliance.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounting & Financial Management
- Maintain and supervise the company’s accounting records, ledgers, and financial statements.
- Prepare Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and other financial reports on a monthly and annual basis.
- Ensure all accounting entries are properly recorded as per applicable accounting standards.
- Monitor daily transactions, cash flow, and fund requirements.
- Oversee inter-branch and inter-company reconciliations.
2. Costing & Inventory Control
- Prepare and analyze cost sheets related to steel production, raw materials, and finished goods.
- Monitor consumption of raw materials, electricity, and other manufacturing inputs.
- Conduct periodic stock audits and coordinate with the stores department.
- Work closely with the production and procurement departments to control manufacturing costs.
3. Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances relevant to the steel industry.
- Ensure timely filing of GST returns, TDS returns, and reconciliation with books.
- Liaise with tax authorities for assessments, notices, and audits.
- Maintain proper documentation for input tax credits and export/import transactions (BoE, LUT, etc.).
4. Banking & Finance
- Coordinate with banks for working capital management, CC limits, and loan documentation.
- Handle LC, BG, and other banking instruments related to imports and domestic purchases.
- Monitor fund flow, payment schedules, and ensure timely vendor payments.
- Prepare and submit financial data required for renewal of credit limits.
5. Audit & Compliance
- Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors for smooth audit processes.
- Implement internal control systems to prevent errors and fraud.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
6. MIS & Reporting
- Prepare periodic MIS reports for management review.
- Analyze profitability, expenses, and cost variances.
- Provide insights for decision-making and budgeting.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
