1. Accounting Operations
- Supervise day-to-day accounting activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and ledgers.
- Ensure timely and accurate posting of all transactions (sales, purchase, expense, payroll, etc.).
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable to maintain cash flow efficiency.
- Oversee bank transactions and perform monthly bank reconciliations.
2. Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Support management in budgeting, variance analysis, and financial planning.
- Generate MIS reports and financial dashboards for leadership review.
- Provide cost analysis and profitability reports for projects or departments.
3. Compliance & Audits
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, ROC filings, etc.).
- Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors for audit preparation and responses.
- Maintain accurate documentation for tax filings, audit trails, and legal compliance.
- Ensure timely filing of returns and regulatory forms.
4. Vendor & Client Accounting
- Manage vendor payments and ensure timely disbursal as per terms.
- Review and reconcile client accounts and project-related financials.
- Handle invoicing, receipts, and outstanding tracking.
- Resolve vendor/client queries related to accounts or payments.
5. Team Supervision & Coordination
- Lead and mentor junior accountants and support staff.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards and company policies.
- Collaborate with other departments (Sales, Procurement, Projects, HR) for accounting inputs.
- Assist in implementing accounting software or ERP systems for automation.
6. Financial Control & Process Improvement
- Maintain internal control systems for accounting accuracy and fraud prevention.
- Recommend and implement improvements in accounting processes.
- Ensure timely closure of books and report discrepancies proactively.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and taxation (GST, TDS, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with accounting software (Tally Prime, ERP systems, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, reports).
- Eye for detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance.
- CA Inter / MBA Finance preferred (not mandatory).
- 5–6 years of experience in accounts management, preferably in real estate, construction, or service industries.
