Accounts Manager - 0 to 4 Years Experience
Are you a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for finance and client relations? We're looking for an Entry-Level or Junior Accounts Manager to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring satisfaction, and driving the financial health of these relationships. Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Financial Oversight (SME Focus): Monitor account financial performance, using QuickBooks for invoicing, tracking revenue and expenses, and ensuring timely client payments.
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare detailed financial reports, forecasts, and budget variance analyses primarily using Microsoft Excel for both clients and internal management.
- Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve client concerns or conflicts related to billing, service delivery, or financial discrepancies.
- Sales Support: Identify opportunities for account growth and collaborate with the sales team to present new services or solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date account records, contracts, and communication logs within our systems.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
- Experience: 0 to 4 years of professional experience in an accounting, finance, or customer-facing role, preferably within an SME.

- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (e.g., general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, budgeting).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective client and internal team interaction.
- Negotiation & Persuasion: Ability to negotiate terms and present financial data clearly and persuasively.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to data entry, reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Problem-Solving: Proven ability to analyze financial data and resolve complex account issues independently.
Essential Tools Proficiency
- Accounting Software: Required: Proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop or Online) for daily transaction processing, reporting, and client account management.
- Microsoft Excel: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is critical (e.g., creating complex formulas, PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, data manipulation, and financial modeling).
- CRM Software: Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools (like Salesforce or HubSpot) for tracking client interactions and account health is a plus.
