Key Responsibilities
· Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations.
· Prepare accurate financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and management reports. (monthly, quarterly & annually)
· Ensure compliance with IFRS.
· Monitor and analyze product costing and margins.
· Work closely with the warehouse and procurement teams to control inventory and prevent losses.
· Conduct periodic stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
· Manage company cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operations.
· Forecast payments and receivables to maintain working capital efficiency.
· Coordinate with banks regarding opening new account’s or updating company information.
· Preparing annual budgets and forecasts.
· Monitor actual performance against budgets and highlight variances.
· Ensure compliance with VAT, corporate tax, and other government regulations.
· Communicating, support and provide all requirements to external and internal auditors.
· Supervise and guide the accounting team.
· Ensure timely closing of accounts and review their work for accuracy.
· Advise management on cost reduction and profit improvement opportunities.
Education: CA, ACCA, CMA qualified candidates
Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of accounting experience, preferably in FMCG or trading industry.
Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT, and UAE Corporate Tax regulations..
