Accounts Manager

Job summary:

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to lead the accounting operations of our Jewelry Division. The Accounts Manager will work closely with management and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial control and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies
• Handle VAT filings and coordinate with auditors and external consultants
• Monitor inventory accounting and cost controls (retail experience essential)
• Supervise and guide accounting staff
• Provide financial analysis and reports to management
• Coordinate with operations, procurement, and sales teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 5–7 years experience in accounting, with retail or related sector experience
• Proven experience in inventory accounting and cost control
• Strong knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel
• Good understanding of VAT and local regulations
• Excellent analytical and leadership skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Asian Candidates will be preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certification (ACCA, CA) preferred
• Experience in GCC retail market is a plus

Working Hours:

• Sunday to Wednesday: 9 hours
• Thursday & Saturday: 7 hours
• Flexibility to work evening hours
• Flexible shift options (broken shift or straight shift depending on business requirements)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR12,000.00 - QAR15,000.00 per month
