Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Construction Accountant Manager who has solid UAE experience and can independently manage the full cycle of project accounting. The ideal candidate must be confident in handling unorganised accounts and setting up a proper accounting structure. This role requires strong hands-on knowledge of construction costing, subcontractor management, billing, audits, and financial reporting. The person should be able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and support management with accurate financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

Project Accounts Management

· Maintain complete project-wise accounts, including cost allocation, material reconciliation, labour cost, equipment charges, and subcontractor records.

· Track actual vs. budgeted costs and flag deviations early.

· Review WIP schedules, project margins, and cost-to-complete reports.

Billing & Payments

· Prepare and review progress invoices, variations, retention, and all construction-related billing.

· Verify subcontractor payment certificates, supplier invoices, LPOs, GRNs, and contract terms.

· Coordinate with QS, site teams, and project managers for timely certifications.

Financial Reporting & Audit Coordination

· Prepare monthly/quarterly financials, management reports, and cash-flow summaries.

· Work closely with external auditors, provide all required supporting documents, and ensure timely closure of audits.

· Clean up and organise accounts wherever required and implement proper accounting controls.

Budgeting & Controls

· Review and maintain project budgets, variations, and financial adjustments.

· Monitor cash flow requirements and support management with fund planning.

· Ensure VAT compliance, proper documentation, and adherence to UAE accounting standards.

Required Experience & Skills

· Minimum6–12 years of UAE experience in construction accounting (mandatory).

· Strong hands-on experience with project costing, WIP, subcontractor accounts, and construction billing.

· Ability to manage unorganised accounts and bring structure to the finance function.

· Experience in audit coordination and preparing audit-ready documentation.

· Proficiency in ERP systems and strong Excel skills.

· Excellent follow-up, accuracy, and organisational skills.

· Able to handle heavy workload and multiple reporting requirements without losing clarity.

· Strong communication skills to work with site teams and management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
