Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager with strong knowledge of financial operations, online software handling, and inventory control within the travel and tourism industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger
- Handle financial transactions for ticketing, hotel bookings, and tour packages
- Reconcile airline, vendor, and customer accounts
- Maintain and monitor inventory of tickets, vouchers, and travel packages
- Track stock movement and ensure accurate inventory records
- Manage refunds, cancellations, and commission structures
- Prepare financial reports, budgets, and cash flow statements
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and company policies
- Manage bookings-related finances (tickets, hotel reservations, tour packages)
- Handle commissions, refunds, and cancellations
- Ensure compliance with tax laws (e.g., GST/VAT )
- Prepare and file tax returns
- Maintain audit-ready records
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience (travel industry preferred)
- Strong command of accounting and online booking software
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and stock control
- Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
