Position: Accounts Officer
Qualification:
- B.Com / M.Com
- CA / CA-Inter / Completed CA Articles
Experience:
- 5 to 10 years in Accounts & Finance
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Maintain accurate books of accounts in compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure timely closure of accounts and reconciliation of ledgers.
- Support statutory and internal audits with required documentation.
2. Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Process vendor invoices, verify bills, and ensure timely payments.
- Monitor accounts receivable, follow up with clients/customers for outstanding dues.
- Maintain proper records of payables, receivables, and reconciliations.
3. Budgeting & Cost Control
- Assist in preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor actual expenses against budget and highlight variances.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and support management in financial planning.
4. Taxation & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF/ESI and other statutory requirements.
- Prepare and file tax returns within due dates.
- Liaise with tax consultants, auditors, and government authorities as needed.
5. Payroll & Employee Settlements
- Oversee salary processing, reimbursements, and deductions.
- Ensure statutory compliance in payroll (PF, ESI, PT, etc.).
- Handle full-and-final settlements for resigned employees.
6. Internal Controls & Policies
- Implement and monitor internal financial controls.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and accounting standards.
- Detect and prevent errors or fraud through regular checks.
7. Banking & Treasury Functions
- Manage daily cash flow, banking transactions, and fund transfers.
- Reconcile bank statements regularly.
- Coordinate with banks for loans, guarantees, and other facilities.
8. Management Support
- Provide financial data and analysis for decision-making.
- Prepare MIS reports for senior management.
- Support in project costing, feasibility analysis, and investment decisions.
9. Documentation & Record Keeping
- Maintain organized records of all financial transactions.
- Ensure safe custody of important financial/legal documents.
- Digitize and update financial records for easy accessibility.
10. Team Coordination & Training
- Coordinate with other departments for smooth financial operations.
- Supervise and guide junior accountants/account assistants.
- Provide training and ensure continuous improvement in accounting practices.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
