Job Responsibilities:
- Record daily receipts, payments, and invoices in ERP/accounting software
- Maintain ledgers for customers, suppliers, and fleet financing institutions
- Prepare rental invoices and track receivables from corporate and individual clients
- Monitor overdue accounts and coordinate with operations for recovery
- Track vehicle purchase, lease, insurance, and maintenance costs
- Maintain depreciation schedules and reconcile fleet-related expenses
- Handle bank reconciliations, credit card settlements, and cash deposits
- Monitor petty cash for fuel, tolls, and driver allowances
- Ensure VAT compliance and timely filing of returns as per UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA)
- Prepare monthly trial balances, financial statements, and management reports
- Support internal/external audits and ensure adherence to UAE accounting standards
- Liaise with HR for payroll processing and statutory deductions
- Work closely with operations to align financial records with fleet utilization
Qualification, Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce required
- 2–4 years of experience in accounts, preferably in transport, leasing, or automotive sector
- Proficiency in ERP/accounting software and MS Excel
- Knowledge of UAE VAT laws and corporate compliance
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
- Effective communication skills for client and vendor coordination
- Integrity and confidentiality in handling financial data
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Familiarity with UAE business practices and fleet management dynamics
