We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Officer who can efficiently manage cash transactions while also supporting bookkeeping and accounting tasks. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling both front-end cash operations and back-end financial record-keeping.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (preferred)
Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in cash handling and accounting/bookkeeping
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle daily cash receipts, payments, and transactions with accuracy
- Maintain and reconcile cash book and petty cash records
- Record financial transactions in ledgers or accounting software
- Assist in accounts payable and receivable processes
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash and expense reports
- Perform bank deposits and assist in bank reconciliations
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records
- Coordinate with the accounts team for reporting and audits
Requirements:
- Strong numerical and bookkeeping skills
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- High level of honesty, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently
- Good communication and organizational skills
