Job Summary:
The Accounts Officer is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, timely reporting, compliance with internal controls, and support in budgeting and audit processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in the accounting system
- Prepare and post journal entries, vouchers, and reconciliations
- Process payments, invoices, and petty cash transactions
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Reconcile bank statements and manage bank correspondence
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and organizational policies
- Support internal and external audits with required documentation
- Assist in payroll processing and related statutory deductions (e.g., EOBI, tax)
- Monitor and report on expenditures, budgets, and variances
- Maintain vendor and customer ledgers and resolve discrepancies
- Perform any other financial duties assigned by the line manager
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting (B.Com, BBA, or equivalent)
- At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ERP, Peachtree)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of financial regulations and practices
- High attention to detail, integrity, and confidentiality
- Strong communication and organizational skills

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
