Job Description
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting tasks.
- Prepare and manage invoices, ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding payments.
- Support the accounting team with daily administrative duties.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management review.
- Handle ad hoc accounting tasks as required by the department.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Officer should have:
- A background in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Experience in handling accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
