Accounts Officer – QuickBooks (Canada)
- Manage end-to-end accounting for Canadian operations using QuickBooks
- Maintain accurate books including AR, AP, GL, and journal entries
- Record and review daily financial transactions in QuickBooks
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual bank and account reconciliations
- Ensure correct expense and revenue classification
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards and internal policies
- Maintain proper documentation and audit-ready records
- Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and tax consultants
- Identify and implement accounting process improvements
- Ensure data accuracy and system integrity in QuickBooks
- Provide financial reports and insights to management as required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably with Canadian entities
- Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks (Online or Desktop)
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
