Accounts Officer – QuickBooks (Canada)

  • Manage end-to-end accounting for Canadian operations using QuickBooks
  • Maintain accurate books including AR, AP, GL, and journal entries
  • Record and review daily financial transactions in QuickBooks
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual bank and account reconciliations
  • Ensure correct expense and revenue classification
  • Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards and internal policies
  • Maintain proper documentation and audit-ready records
  • Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and tax consultants
  • Identify and implement accounting process improvements
  • Ensure data accuracy and system integrity in QuickBooks
  • Provide financial reports and insights to management as required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably with Canadian entities
  • Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks (Online or Desktop)
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
