Organic Lab is a dynamic and growing company dedicated to providing high-quality products. We are building a passionate team to support our financial operations and are seeking a meticulous and proactive Accounts Officer - Receivable to manage our incoming revenue cycle from logistics partners.
This role is critical for maintaining our company's cash flow and fostering positive financial relationships with our key logistics partners.
Key Responsibilities
1. Logistics Partner Accounts Management
- Manage accounts receivable for all designated logistics partners (e.g., TCS, Leopard, etc.).
- Generate and issue accurate invoices based on agreed terms and shipment volumes.
- Verify partner billing statements against internal records and shipment data.
- Process debit/credit notes for service discrepancies and adjustments.
2. Payment Processing & Reconciliation
- Record and apply all payments received from logistics partners.
- Reconcile partner payments against outstanding invoices in the ERP system.
- Proactively monitor and follow up on pending payments.
- Maintain a systematic payment tracking system.
3. Reporting & Analysis
- Perform monthly reconciliation of all logistics partner accounts.
- Prepare and maintain an accurate Accounts Receivable Aging Report.
- Analyze payment patterns and identify areas for process improvement.
- Monitor partner performance against payment terms.
4. Collections & Communication
- Proactively manage collections for overdue partner accounts.
- Maintain professional communication with partner account teams.
- Resolve billing disputes in coordination with the operations team.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of proven experience in an accounts receivable role.
- Experience managing B2B accounts, preferably with logistics or courier companies, is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Reporting Line
This role reports directly to the Co-Founders and works closely with the Operations and Logistics departments.
