Accounts Payable Accountant

LHH is working on behalf of our growing client in the non-profit space who is looking to bring an Accounts Payable Accountant on board on a 4+ month contract basis. This will require some in-office work in Manhattan, NY. Prior experience utilizing NetSuite is a highly preferred!

Responsibilities:

• Process invoices and weekly payments for all US entities
• Review GL coding
• Manage vendor requests within the system
• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals
• Prepare year-end schedules
• Assist with ad-hoc reporting and month-end closing

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree highly preferred
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables & v-lookups
• Experience with NetSuite is preferred
• Prior non-profit industry experience is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation: $32 - $38/hr, depending on experience.
