In this role, you will manage the processing of vendor invoices, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support the overall accounts payable functions. Your expertise will help maintain accurate financial records, facilitate timely payments, and uphold the integrity of our financial processes. Responsibilities

  • Process and verify a high volume of vendor invoices using accounting software for Dealerships.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions regularly to ensure data integrity and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Prepare and post journal entries related to accounts payable activities, including accruals and adjustments.
  • Maintain detailed records of all transactions, supporting documentation, and audit trails in accordance with compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with procurement, finance, and human resources teams to facilitate smooth payment processing and resolve invoice issues efficiently.
  • Assist with month-end closing processes by preparing reports on outstanding payables and performing general ledger reconciliation.
  • Support the implementation and ongoing use of financial software to streamline accounts payable workflows.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), double entry bookkeeping, and financial concepts related to accounts payable.
  • Knowledge of payroll management systems like UltiPro or Kronos is a plus for integrating benefits administration with financial processes.
  • Proficiency in data entry with high accuracy and attention to detail for account reconciliation and journal entries.
  • Ability to analyze financial data effectively using analysis skills for reporting discrepancies or process improvements.
  • Excellent organizational skills combined with strong communication abilities to collaborate across departments effectively. Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
