What you will have an opportunity to do:

Essential Job Functions

Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment. Use equipment only as intended.
Maintain positive vendor relations at all times.
Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.
Answer department telephone within 3 rings, using correct greeting and telephone etiquette.
Observe accepted standard office etiquette, teamwork and professional working relationships.
Process credit applications for departments.
Process purchase orders.
Process invoices for payment – verifying amounts billed with amounts approved, verifying approval, verifying checkbook & receipt.
Process checks to vendors.
Maintain filing system for Accounts Payable.
Close Accounts Payable in system at month end.
Assist with Month End accruals and variance report.
Review all monthly vendor statements, research and resolve discrepancies.
