What you will have an opportunity to do:

Essential Job Functions

  • Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.

  • Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment. Use equipment only as intended.

  • Maintain positive vendor relations at all times.

  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.

  • Answer department telephone within 3 rings, using correct greeting and telephone etiquette.

  • Observe accepted standard office etiquette, teamwork and professional working relationships.

  • Process credit applications for departments.

  • Process purchase orders.

  • Process invoices for payment – verifying amounts billed with amounts approved, verifying approval, verifying checkbook & receipt.

  • Process checks to vendors.

  • Maintain filing system for Accounts Payable.

  • Close Accounts Payable in system at month end.

  • Assist with Month End accruals and variance report.

  • Review all monthly vendor statements, research and resolve discrepancies.
